WE ARE STRENGTH THROUGH PILATES
Strength Through Pilates was created from a desire to bring a level of education, accountability and results we felt was missing in the world of Pilates. 

We want for you to achieve the goals you set out to achieve, be that strength goals, flexibility goals, weight loss goals, even lifestyle goals.  You are here for a reason, and we want you to see results. 

The focus for us is results and the accountability and support that we know everyone needs in order to stay motivated and progress your practice as you improve, and your goals grow and change. 

We don't believe in fad diets, meal replacement shakes or programs, we don't believe in restrictive diets.  We believe that chocolate and wine have a place in your lifestyle if you want.  It's all about understanding how it impacts your goals. 

We believe that gratitude should be part of your daily life, and should be recorded until it's habit, just like sleep, food, water and exercise.  This is about a lifestyle that is sustainable and positive.

MEET THE TEAM
Jessica Failli
Jessica’s journey into health and wellbeing began at the very early age of 2. Jess was very active and loved music and she was introduced to dance, athletics and sports in general very early and this shaped her career.
Jess is a professional dancer and instructor. She has studied dance full time with The Space and Arts Centre earning an Alumni Fellowship and then with the Sydney Dance Company in 2016.
Throughout her dance training and career, Pilates was a constant practice in strengthening and conditioning her entire body. It helped her create body awareness and was a tool for career longevity through the prevention and rehabilitation of injuries.
It was her passion for Pilates, a love of anatomy and efficiency of movement that influenced Jess to train as a Pilates Instructor. She graduated with a certificate 1V and became a member of APMA.
Jess is now in Melbourne, dancing, teaching and Instructing with us at Strength Through Pilates. She is keen to share her knowledge and believes Pilates provides the perfect exercise platform to strengthens the body, release greater movement, creates better body awareness and assists in injury prevention.

We are excited to have Jess Headlam join Strength Through Pilates.

Jess like many dancers discovered the benefits of Pilates through dance. In her case it was her Egyptian dance practice. Once introduced to the benefits of Pilates Jess decided to make it her career and studied through the highly regarded National Pilates Training.  

In addition to, and as part of, her qualification with National Pilates, Jess developed a very keen sense of alignment. She pays great attention to clients positioning to ensure maximum benefit is achieved for those in any of her sessions. She has a very calm approach but, has a genuine passion to help clients move beyond their perceived thresholds and build greater strength, flexibility and coordination.  

Jess is also passionate about Pilates as part of a wholistic wellbeing regime, a form of exercise that calls for deep concentration on movement and positioning allowing that all important me time to nourish the body.
